Cape Mentelle Cabernet Merlot

This wine is no exception, capturing the depth and structure of the cabernet with the dark fruit of merlot which, when blended with small amounts of cabernet franc and petit verdot, create a well-rounded, full and rich style.
Campo Viejo Tempranillo
Crafted from 100% premium Tempranillo and a passionate winemaking philosophy. The result is a fresh and lively fruit expression of the variety, that is undeniably Campo Viejo.
TASTING NOTES COLOUR- A cherry red color, suggestive of a vibrant Tempranillo wine. NOSE- It’s rich aromas have a pronounced intensity with an initial scent of ripe red fruit followed by gentle sweet notes of vanilla and spices. PALATE- It is perfumed, soft and fresh with a long finish with notes of fruits, vanilla and cocoa.
Campo Viejo Reserva
Campo Viejo is one of the most well known wineries in the D.O La Rioja. Founded in 1959, the company has gone through successive stages of modernization that have lead to its current success.
TASTING NOTES There is a great balance between the fruit (cherries, black plums, ripe blackberries) and the clean nuances coming from the wood (clove, pepper, vanilla and coconut). The nose is further enriched by the aromas that develop during bottle ageing. Smooth and balanced on the palate with a full, elegant feel and a long, lingering finish.

Gradually it opens up to reveal smoky, toasted wood nuances, with spices and hints of minerals and tobacco. The palate is smooth with soft and velvety tannins, great palate weight, extraordinarily balanced acidity. The elegant and complex aftertaste, with hints of coffee, chocolate, tobacco, and dark fruit.
