Bold was a 2015 addition to the core range. Following their Edited release, Bold is a fully peated single malt from Paul Distilleries (they're aptly named expressions). Peat is brought over to Goa from Islay for Bold, where it is used to dry their 6-row Indian barley.
TASTING NOTES
Nose- After the slightest whiff of smoke, a dizzying array of Manuka honey, prickly spice and bourboneque red liquorice takes over.
Palate- This melt-in-the-mouth malt has the most profound flavours crashing in like waves.
Finish- Peaty, peppered oak.
PAUL JOHN Nirvana is an unpeated expression, created from Indian six-row barley and matured in charred American oak casks.
TASTING NOTES
Colour- Deep copper.
Nose- An attractive honeycombed bourbon with luscious fruitcake, with a light whiff of enticing caramel pudding.
Taste- A delightful soft honey with a slight salt-edged barley; an excellent mouthfeel with honeycomb sweetness.
Finish- Immensely long, and richly flavoured with dissolving honey, barley, and succulent vanilla.
Togouchi 8 Years is a limited release whisky that has been aged and stored for a minimum of 8 years in sherry oak casks, and is a blend of Scottish malts with Canadian grain.
Although blended in Japan, Togouchui Premium Whisky is a blend of Scottish malt and Canadian grain. Aged in the town of Togouchi in a tunnel that was originally built for a railway but never used - intriguing!
TASTING NOTES
Nose- It has a youthful aroma, but a slight peaty aroma can be noticed followed by sweet honey, nuts and corn flakes.
Palate- It’s has a light and mild taste. A sweet aroma that reminds you of grains and honey gives you a mellow feeling.
Finish- The slightly peaty aroma dominates the aftertaste.
The 15-year-old version of Togouchi's blended whisky. A combination of whiskies from Canada and Scotland, which are blended together and aged in a Japanese railway tunnel. Nutty, chocolatey and spicy.

Nose- Soft pastry dusted with cinnamon, pear and hints of dried earth.
Palate- Nutty malt complemented by milk chocolate, joined by a helping of caraway.
Finish- Peppercorn, vanilla and a lingering peatiness.
Akashi Red Blended Malt & Grain is a blended whisky reserved in Japanese Shochu cask (American Oak) for 3 years, aged in ex-bourbon casks before finishing in ex-sherry casks for 2 years.

A Japanese blended whisky that has been the subject of some controversy. The bottling for the home market in Japan is made with malt whisky and molasses spirit, which would not be classed as 'whisky' in the EU. This export version, however, is made from malt and grain whiskies.
