TASTING NOTES

Nose- Gristy, supple nuttiness intertwined with spices. Honeyed sultanas and grapes.

Palate- Smooth and mellow with beautifully combined flavours – nutty sweetness, cinnamon spiciness and a delicately proportioned layer of sherry.

Finish- Spicy, slightly drying, still sweet.

Description

The Balvenie DoubleWood is a 12 year old single malt Scotch whisky. Moreover, it gains its distinctive character from being matured in two wood types. Furthermore, over the period of maturation it is transferred from a traditional oak whisky cask to a first fill European oak sherry cask. Hence, each stage lends different qualities to the resulting single malt. The traditional casks soften and add character, whilst the sherry wood brings depth and fullness of flavour.

Our craftsmen have an intimate understanding of their materials and a desire to make the very best whisky possible. We offer FREE delivery within West Malaysia for the total amount of order above RM500.00. For any purchase that less than RM500.00, there will be delivery charges of RM20 per 6 bottles.

We do not deliver to East Malaysia and other countries at the moment.

Subject to stock availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed and delivered within 1 week with the use of our preferred courier company. Orders for very remote areas not serviced by standard courier’s delivery could take an extras day.

To receive the delivery, you must live in a residential apartment, corporate address or home, and you (or your representative of legal age) must be present to receive your order from our delivery service during your selected delivery window. Additionally, you may elect an alternate receiver located within your building to accept your delivery. This alternate receiver can accept your goods when you are not present at the time you had selected for delivery and shall accept the goods under all of the same terms and conditions that would apply had you accepted the delivery yourself.
