TASTING NOTES

Nose- Citrus, peaty, fresh grass, banana, pears, nuts.

Taste- Crisp, clean, honey notes, almonds, cocao nibs, buttered popcorn.

Finish- Medium. Oak, vanilla finish.

Description

The Togouchi whisky is a Japanese blend, that is so unique and unusual as it is aged in a tunnel then blended by the master blenders of Chugoku Jozo, its owner.

Chugoku Jozo is a liquor company, established in 1918, more famously known for its sake and shochu. It imports already distilled whiskies and performs the aging and blending inhouse. The whiskies are aged in sherry and brandy casks, housed in a mysterious location where the former Japanese National Railways dug as a prospecting tunnel over 387m, but was never used eventually. The conditions in the tunnel are ideal for whisky aging, with a constant temperature of 14 degrees Celsius and a humidity of 80%. To continue its success, Chugoku Jozo has recently filled a further 50 barrels and put them in the aging tunnel so that production of the whisky can continue.

We offer FREE delivery within West Malaysia for the total amount of order above RM500.00. For any purchase that less than RM500.00, there will be delivery charges of RM20 per 6 bottles.

We do not deliver to East Malaysia and other countries at the moment.

Subject to stock availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed and delivered within 1 week with the use of our preferred courier company. Orders for very remote areas not serviced by standard courier’s delivery could take an extras day.

To receive the delivery, you must live in a residential apartment, corporate address or home, and you (or your representative of legal age) must be present to receive your order from our delivery service during your selected delivery window. Additionally, you may elect an alternate receiver located within your building to accept your delivery. This alternate receiver can accept your goods when you are not present at the time you had selected for delivery and shall accept the goods under all of the same terms and conditions that would apply had you accepted the delivery yourself. Anyone at the delivery address who receives the delivery is conclusively presumed to be authorized to receive the delivery.
