The story of the Rufus Stone dates back to medieval England and refers to the death of King William II, known as Rufus. Rufus was believed to have been killed by an errant arrow fired by Sir Walter Tyrrell – an ancestor of the Tyrrell family. Today the site of this infamous incident is marked by the Rufus Stone. 24yo vines planted on Cambrian soil, 20 days on skins with a high percentage of whole berries, matured in French barriques (20% new) for 16 months. An easy wine to drink, soft in its plush fruit and minimal tannins. Since 1997, our top non-Hunter red wines have been named in honour of Tyrrell’s historical association with the Rufus Stone.This is a full-bodied wine that offers intense aromas of black plum and white pepper. Spicy French oak supports and guides the impressive volume of fruit.

We do not deliver to East Malaysia and other countries at the moment.
Subject to stock availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed and delivered within 1 week with the use of our preferred courier company. Orders for very remote areas not serviced by standard courier’s delivery could take an extras day.

To receive the delivery, you must live in a residential apartment, corporate address or home, and you (or your representative of legal age) must be present to receive your order from our delivery service during your selected delivery window. Additionally, you may elect an alternate receiver located within your building to accept your delivery. This alternate receiver can accept your goods when you are not present at the time you had selected for delivery and shall accept the goods under all of the same terms and conditions that would apply had you accepted the delivery yourself. Anyone at the delivery address who receives the delivery is conclusively presumed to be authorized to receive the delivery.
