TASTING NOTES
Nose- A light, buttery nose with hints of barley, toasty oak, plum wine and spice.
Palate- Custard apples and toffee on the palate, with hints of grist, honeycomb and beeswax. All rather floral too.
Finish- Good, zesty finish with toasty barley clinging 'til the very last.

SMELL- Fresh citrus fruitiness.
TASTE- Bursts of black pepper and cinnamon.
FINISH- A long, lingering smoky finish.
A Japanese blended whisky that has been the subject of some controversy. The bottling for the home market in Japan is made with malt whisky and molasses spirit, which would not be classed as 'whisky' in the EU. This export version, however, is made from malt and grain whiskies.
PAUL JOHN Nirvana is an unpeated expression, created from Indian six-row barley and matured in charred American oak casks.

Colour- Deep copper.
Nose- An attractive honeycombed bourbon with luscious fruitcake, with a light whiff of enticing caramel pudding.
Taste- A delightful soft honey with a slight salt-edged barley; an excellent mouthfeel with honeycomb sweetness.
Finish- Immensely long, and richly flavoured with dissolving honey, barley, and succulent vanilla.

TASTING NOTES
Nose- Herbs and pine. Hints of white grape, lemon, yellow apple and angelica fruits. Dry oak, with lavender and floral undertones
Palate- Rich malt with vanilla and grapes. Pine, oak and floral notes accompany a slightly bitter citrus peel
Finish- Oak and warming wood spices with a touch of vanilla
JAMESON Black Barrel is an Irish Whiskey elaborated with a triple distilled, twice charred, for a rich smooth taste.
TASTING NOTES
Aroma- Soft barrel-char aromas, along with sweet barley and cereal
Palate- Very soft and smooth. Subtle spiciness and barrel char comes through, along with fresh fruitiness
Finish- Smooth and balanced
A 15 year old blended Scotch whisky expression from Dewer's. An intriguing step-up from the classic blend, well worth a look if you're a Dewer's devotee.

Aroma- A good balance of Sherried spices, nutty elements and apple skin.
Palate- Oily walnut leading into fresh malt and sultanas. Chewy vanilla toffee.
Finish- More sweet dried fruit notes with touch of grassiness.
Togouchi 8 Years is a limited release whisky that has been aged and stored for a minimum of 8 years in sherry oak casks, and is a blend of Scottish malts with Canadian grain.
